Killing songs: Praying Mantis Nowhere To Hide
Union is a Best Of Label released by Frontiers Records
year after year. Here comes the 4th one and I have to admit that the
number of group under the flag Frontiers Records is really impressive.
Of course we are talking here of soft hard rock and AOR, but names
like Ten, Praying Mantis, The Sign, Millenium, David Glen Eisley,
Prime Time, Kip Winger, Seventh Key, Emerald Rain, Hush, Heaven &
Earth, Mark Boals, Teer.... are well know bands now.
I won't comment too much each song as more or less each artist of this
Union have a full review on our website. The only thing to say
here is that the choice of the songs is not bad at all : Ten
with its Give In This Time is a nice entry just followed by the
excellent song Nowhere To Hide (Praying Mantis) and it
continues like this with the band we have mentioned above.
If you already have the records of this bands, there is nothing new
here. If you don't have records from this band, if you like Best Ofs,
if you are fan of soft hard rock and if you want to discover new bands,
I suggest you have a look at this Union 4. Ah just before I leave
you, there is two CDs, each full of 75 minutes of hard rock and 33 songs
from 33 different bands.
No quote here, but a must for fans of this type of music.
