Killing songs: Crazy Train (Dee Snider), Desire (Lemmy), Shot In The Dark (Soto)
A tribute to Ozzy without Bark At The Moon!!! Imagine an
AC/DC tribute without Hells Bells, a Kiss tribute without Detroit
Rock City or an Iron Maiden one without The Trooper.
Anyway...
Of course songs like Paranoid, Hellraiser or Over The Mountain
are present and the choice of the songs is overall not so bad.
It could have been a better choice, but that's ok.
As for the musicians, lots of friends here : Tim "Ripper"
Owens on Mr. Crowley and Mr. Guitar (Y. Malmsteen) together
on a same track : whaatttt a start! On second track here comes Mark
Slaughter with Eric Singer on the drum (Over The Mountain).
Forth track, Crazy Train, sees Dee Snider singing as usual
(by the way I have heard that Twisted Sister is about to come bbbaaaacccckkk,
god please make that happen). Lots of other good singers, like Joe
Lynn Turner, Jeff Scott Soto, Vince Neil and ... and ... and Lemmy
Kilmister. And also lots of good musicians with guys like Bruce
Kullick, George Lynch, Tommy Aldridge or Paul Gilbert to name just
a few of them.
Songs are : Mr. Crowley, Over The Mountain, Desire, Crazy Train,
Goodbye To Romance, Hellraiser, Shot In The Dark, Children Of The
Grave, Paranoid, Suicide Solution, I Don't Know.
Overall a very good tribute, even though you should not forget
to pick up the original one ... as Ozzy is Ozzy.
