Tormented

Skull crusher, from Austria, is playing a very technically highstanding death metal in the vein of the famous Florida death metal bands. Vocals are guttural as hell and their rhythm is overall fast, somehow a Running Wild death metal band. This latest effort sees Skull Crusher taking all sorts of directions, while staying completely true to death metal. The sound is still very aggressive and also very well worked. Simple and direct compositions mixing raw death metal with classic heavy/speed metal riffs and the drums is enormous. Technically it is perfect. Sometimes you have the feeling that the only thing that reminds you´re listening to a death metal band are those vocals, since the instrumental have a classic heavy/speed metal approach. If you like heavy/speed combined with a hellish guttural voice, with fast and technical rhythm, Tormented is for you.
