With such title and if you pay attention de the cover art (both side),
it is quite easy to understand that this release is the last one ...
as long as they do not come back later of course. I have not that much
to say about this record as I have never been a big fan of Thunder.
Their jazzy-bluesy hard rock has never been digested by my brain ...
which doesn't mean they play a bad music. It is just a matter of taste!
This live is the way they choose to say to their fan : Bye Bye
& Thank you for your support all these years !!! This Final Lively
Long Player was recorded on May 4th 2000 in front of 650 lunatics at
the celebrated Dingwalls in London. As usual (?) the band were themselves
and even more as usual the audience was noisy and enthusiastic.
A must have for all Thunder's fans and if you still don't know them,
this live is an excellent start (end?). Well produced, but could have
been better. This live is well performed and the choice of songs
should satisfy Thunder's fans also (Welcome To The Party, Backstreet
Symphony, Until My Dying Day,Fly On The Wall, ...).
At the end of the booklet there is this Curious Footnote : "
It's been a nice journey really. Some twists and turns, with a few bumps
here and there, but on the whole, really quite nice. We met a lot of
people along the way and most of them were lovely. Not all, but most.
If you're one of the lovely ones, thank you for being so, and if you're
not watch your back !!! "
