Killing songs: Every In Flames song is a killing song !!!
After five long years of services and four monster albums, the best Melodic
Death Metal band finally decided to deliver us a live album. And like Children
Of Bodom, it's in Tokyo that the five Jesters have decided to light up the
fire of the Japanese public.
The sound is very good, although we might have like a bit more clarity during
some moments (like the beginning of Clayman). But the choice and furthermore
the number of titles (15) contained on the CD will let us forget about that
pretty quickly. From Lunar Strain to Clayman, throughout an avalanche
of hits. Bullet Ride opens the Napalm flood with its melodic chorus and
heavy riffs, where Embody The Invisible will be recognized easily by
it's intro (who said Dragon Ball ?) and then comes Jotun and Food
For The Gods, powerful hit from the "green one" (how they name
the album Whoracle). I can't quote all of them (although that's exactly
what I'm doing ;)) but we will also remember Moonshield (from Jester
Race), Gyroscope (Worhacle), Ordinary School (Colony)
and of course the other classics that are Colony and Episode 666.
Wow... I haven't yet recover... anyway I can only advise you to buy this live
album but more important to go see this band live at least once. One last word
: can't wait the next album.
