Killing songs: all of them !!!
Dance-Metal ? Indus ? Nu-Metal ? I don't know ... and I don't give
a sh*t, as this album is simply wonderful !!!
If you need another picture, here it comes : do you remember our impression
about the last Ozzy or the last Alice ? Let's says in
two words that this Sinister Urge is full of samples, groovy
hits, each song being totally different one another and that both Alice
and Ozzy have try to made it ... but Rob Zombie made it and succeed
it !!! What a song-writing my dear readers !
Another point here : if you like Rammstein and have some problems
with German lyrics, this Sinister Urge is very inspired (too
much ?) by the last Rammstein (Mutter), but here the lyrics
are in English. Songs like Never Goona Stop, Dead Girl Superstar,
Going To California proves that Rob Zombie is a genius. You must
hear it to believe it.
At the end, the new record of Rob Zombie stands between The Offspring
and Rammstein. Last but not least, Feel So Numb reminds
me Unholy and Domino of Kiss (the bass parts) and
some songs are coming straight from the spirit of Alice Cooper, but written
genuinely. As I said, a wonderful surprise .... that might even make
your neighbors dance on it.
Ah before I go, this is metal guys ... full of industrial elements
... but it is still metal as far I as am concerned. So my only advise will
be this one : before judging The Sinister Urge, go outside, listen
to it and make you own "taste" of it.
