The name of the band should be enough to tell you this record isn't full of true-metal hymns, symphonic orchestras or gothic atmospheres. No, we are talking death metal at its rawest level here. Four years after their first album, the band from USA sends a new killer into the death-metal arena. Its weapons: fast and lethal riffs, razor-sharp sound and unpredictable song structure. The songs, far from boring (a common problem with this genre), use breaks and tempo-changes to keep the listeners glued to their speakers. And with 10 songs in only 35 minutes they will soon beg for more. As for the vocals, it's purely a matter of taste but I have a preference for vocals that still seem to come from a human being. The production is as good as it gets, with every little detail quite distinct and guitars set to the ultra-violence mode. If your favorite musical style is death metal, this CD has your name on it. As for others, they aren't probably even reading this review.
