Killing songs: Broken Machine !!!!!!!!
This is a band for anybody who likes party, anybody who sits in their bedroom at three in the morning ... The Almighty is better than ever, harder than ever, more in-your-face than ever and so "rocking melodic". Four years on from their final show at London's Shepherds Bush Empire the greatest British metal band of their generation are back in the ring. Never a band to play by the rules, the British quartet split up in May 1996, at the peak of their powers at that time. They're back !....Why ? "Simply because we missed it, to me it felt unfinished" states vocalist/guitarist Ricky Warwick. Reformation used to be a dirty word, but not when the band in question(s) sounds this hungry, this inspired and this vital. The huge international success of recent comebacks from Black Sabbath, Kiss, Iron Maiden (this month HALFORD !!!) have proven that not everyone wants to listen to baggy jeans-wearing. This is a very good "comeback" album! I can only highly recommend you to hear it by yourself.
