Killing songs: All Of Them !
Here comes chapter 2 for a big Power Metal band. First thing to say
when you hold the CD is : Wow ! What a fucking great artcover !!!
So as for the music, I was worried a bit because Metalium had several
line-up change and god knows it's not good for a band. Mainly Chris
Caffery and Mike Terrana (the machine) and many people expressed their
fears after they left. Well, after 2 minutes of listening to their new
album I can put all my fears to the rest. This album is even better
than the first one if you ask me, perhaps because it's a bit more melodic.
Now Metalium have a special recipee that makes them unique, with a
special guitar sound, a singer that every band would kill to get, an
epic touch and a production over the top fabulous with a crisp and clear
sound ! This album is epic and it's 100% metal fused ! The singer is
one of the best german voice ever. Impressively showing his range of
capabilities you can find some Helloween then and there, Gammaray early
years (Ralf Sheepers) and everyone knows it's not an easy thing to sing
like Ralf. But it's not only a synthesis of other guys, no no, this
singer (Henning Basse) is really something, and no words can speak better
than the music itself so I'll let you judge for yourself.
A strong and epic release that puts Metalium in the center of the Power
Metal scene ! Congratulations !
