Killing songs: I couldn't find any...
If I'm not mistaken, this album is Stormwind's first album, which was first
release in japan only. I prefer the first european released album (Resurrection),
in other words the second (previously release) one... are you lost ? (that's
normal :)). With other words, this one is inferior than the Resurrection album.
Stormwind reminds me a lot Yngwie Malmsteen (he plays in the last track by
the way), and frankly I can't find too much originality in the songs, like other
Malmsteen wanna be bands (why I'll never understand but that's another subject)
and tends to get quickly boring and quite worthless albums in the end. Now I can't seem to determine if the vocals are taken care by a male or a female
here... After 15 minutes of delibaration I'd say a female , but I might be wrong.
I think it wasn't the case in the previous (next actually ! :)) record. Production
is nice without being perfect. The guitar melodies can be very nice like on
the song Time Won't Tell, but the overall originality is once again,
for that kind of album, a great weakness.
I'm really being bored by all these albums resembling one another, and maybe
its time for some people to start writing their own music, the scene's full
with too many bands already, many talented ones and having copycats of these
bands doesn't add that much to the scene if you ask me. Boring, next please.
