Killing songs: I Am The Sun (part one) 15'03 !
Based on Inside Out's flyer, I can see 5 others albums of this band. I didn't know them before. Well ... I must admit I am a bit contagious to the word "progressive" and I am not a big fan of this type of metal. However for this time, I have decided to give a try as I thought "you not gonna die listen to this type of music". So here we go. First, I am still alive. Secondly, it is not far away from Styx's music style (I am a big fan of them). It is not too technical (even though it is still too much for my taste) and vocals are cool, especially for briges & chorus. Finally it is quiet ... actually very quiet. There is not a piece of chance you gonna break your neak on this record. I know we are talking about progressive rock, but I could really say it is "progressive pop-rock music". Honestly the song-writting is interesting. The music is not bad at all and I survived it, but it is not really my cup of tea as the songs are really too long for me. Fans of Spock's Beard or Transatlantic should like it.
