Killing songs: The whole cd
He is back. Andy B. Franck is back with Symphorce. After
the releasing of one of the best album of the year with Brainstorm,
Ambiguity (killer album that you should own as soon
as possible), I was very impatient to listen again to this
excellent singer. Sooner Andy will be recognized as one of
the best singer in the metal scene. This is what I think at
least. Now let talk about this Sinctuary.
With the help of Achim Köhler (Primal Fear, Sinner,
DC Cooper), Symphorce recorded the new album in House of Music
Studio in Winterbach. Sinctuary is very impressive
due AGAIN to Andy's vocals. Of course, Brainstorm and Symphorce
seems very similar today, where Symphorce is more power metal
oriented and Brainstorm more power/thrash oriented. If you
like Brainstorm's Ambiguity, you will appreciate even
more this new Symphorce album. Songs are powerful and will
convince every power metal fan (some excellent keyboards effects
have been also included here and there). Guitars solos are
great and they stay in your mind for a while. Ballads are
brilliant, with excellent melodic choruses.
Sinctuary reflects a new development for Symphorce.
The band is today much more powerful and varied. The song-writing
has improved a lot as well. If I can give you a piece of advise
it will be this one : run to your metal store and buy this
excellent piece of power metal ... and if you don't have Brainstorm's
new album, buy it also. Your metal collection deserve it.
