Killing songs: Feel So Numb !!!!!!!
Honestly, I don't have a lot of things to tell you about the new Rob
Zombie album ... which isn't in fact a new album. This is a "best
of", including a bonus DVD. This release will add "fuel" to the
already existing rumors saying Mr. Zombie is more and more interested by Hollywood
and less interested by music. I am a mega fan of his latest studio album The
Sinister Urge ... but it seems it saw a mild success out there. I hope
it is just rumors ... I hope Rob won't quit music.
This box covers the history of Mr. Zombie - including White Zombie tracks -
and most of Zombie's music videos. The audio is full of 19 songs - with two
of them previously unreleased. But the most interesting part is the bonus DVD
: 10 videos, 9 of them being directed by Rob Zombie himself. At least the rumors
are based on facts :)
The best videos are Dragula, Never Gonna Stop and the mega hit Feel
So Numb. I think this is the kind of gift that will please all Rob Zombie's
fans out there ... the price being very very honest. The music alone is worth
the price of the CD, but the DVD of music videos that comes with it is the icing
on the cake. By the way, if you like Rammstein ... there is
a kind of parallel between the German band and Rob Zombie. It is easy to find
out who influenced who :)
If you still haven't heard about Rob Zombie, I highly recommend
you to jump on this release ... which could be the last album ever of Mr. Zombie.
19 songs, 19 ways to play Industrial Rock and 10 wonderful videos. Christmas
isn't far away after all.
