They say you can't please everyone, and that will certainly be true for the new Theatre of Tragedy. The gothic metal band has gone electronic and the new album is more a kind of gothic-industrial than metal. "Ok, so this isn't what we are used to but is it any good?" The answer will probably depend on whether you like electro/industrial music. Personally I like it very much. The mix of the usual Theatre riffs and female vocals with the industrial sound creates something that I find original and very interesting. There is even one song (Image) where I can't resist singing along the chorus. On the other hand, fans of Theatre of Tragedy with no taste for electronic music will probably hate it. Two words about the booklet, it's graphically very nice but completely useless. They probably thought that puting full lyrics of the songs in it would make it less beautiful, so instead you have very nice empty pages !! Although I liked this album, I suggest you listen to it before buying it.
