Machine Man

Finally, FINALLY !!! Time is short, but some bands managed to make it so long. This single contains two new Judas Priest songs (both written by Glen Tipton) and one video track. What ? Only two ! Yes my friends, but what songs !!! 1) Machine Man : The opening drums will immediately reminds you Painkiller's intro. But no worries, the song is not a Painkiller copycat and is a killer. The chorus is simple but once you get us to it, I admitted it is a cool one. The tempo is quite fast, but the surprise comes from Mr. Ripper. Compare to Jugulator, Ripper is free. He sings like a god and seems very angry and ready to explode our metalheads on tour. 2) Subterfuge : The unbelivable surprise here. Written in junction with Chris Tsangarides (Painkiller's producer), this song is full of new effects (or sounds) that fans are not used to from Judas Priest. A killer song !!! The guitar riffs will kill your neck, trust me as it killed mine. I hate this song because if time I touched the play button, my head move alone and I become all of a sudden very aggressive. Subterfuge, where Machine Head meets Rage, is the best song I have heard from Judas Priest since .... Well two songs is not enough for me ... and I really hope this is not their best songs from their coming album Demolition. But who knows ? Now, if the rest of Demolition is like Machine Man single .... I have my album of the year 2001. Machine Man's Running - You Wanna Try, Machine Man's Coming - You're Gonna Die !!!
