Killing songs: If you forgive and forget about the raw mix sound the hole album is great !!!!!
Chuck Schuldiner is the songwriter, guitarist and
singer of Death. Not only he is a precursor
in his genre but also he invented a style: Death
Metal taken from the name of the band. Chuck Schuldiner
(Death, Control Denied) is a talented and
respected guy in the death scene.
As a matter of fact, Chuck Schuldiner has a cancer
of the brain and needs a second intervention. How
ironic and sad to know that Chuck is close to death
and especially that he hasn't got enough money to
spend for this painful cure. There will be a concert
on the 14th of October in Tilburg in Holland as
support to Chuck Schuldiner with bands like God
Dethroned, Altar, Goddes Of Desire, Occult, Outburst,
Severe Torture, Thanatos and many more.
So this is also one of the reason this live album
came out. Lets say its sounds very raw and with
no overdubs in other words like a bootleg. The performance
of the band is good but I won't tell about the guys
in the studio...
Anyway it is for sure a must for every Death Metal
fan, and of course if it can help Chuck to cure,
just go for it !!!!!!!!!!!!
At last but not at least it is funny to hear as
intro from Pull The Plug the soundtrack of
Charlie's Angels.
This live album exists also in VHS and DVD.
