Killing songs: You Will Be Mine, Don't Leave Me In Love, The Sky Is The Limit, Bad Case Of Loving You
As I promised you, this is the following of my latest review. I have the pleasure
to give you my impression about III. First, I was anxious because I
found it strange they could come back after 10 years later! Why did they composed
a new album? Today, I can assure you that they didn't recorded for money but
really for the pleasure. During a meeting in Chicago in 1999, Frontiers Records
proposed to David Huff to bring back the name and the music of such a majestic
band. The guys loved this idea and agreed to release a brand new album. It take
two years long to get the most excited album which cames out for the end of
this year!
The album starts with Combustion. They found the right title for the
track. I have got the impression to be sitting on the commands of a supersonic
jet! What a guitar solo! You Will Be Mine followed right there. Like
the calm before the storm, Don't Leave Me In Love sitting on the fourth
place of this CD. They have the capacity to mix the acoustical with the electric
parts without loosing the spirit of rock and roll! I stop here to write about
each track. III is more mature than Last Of The Runaways and
Time To Burn... the Huff brothers got ten more years which makes all the
difference! This album is a collection of songs showcasing the immense talents
of an amazing group of musicians. Their come back is a complet success. Giant
are back and here to stay!
My advise is if you want to seduce your mother-in-law, you should offer it
for Christmas and she will change her mind about you and rock and roll. Then
she will understand that you're not such a bad boy!
