Killing songs: This Is Where It All Begins (the famous copycat Dire Straits song)
The first song is a copycat of ... Dire Straits, a bit harder
maybe, but still a copycat. I will apply the football rule :
red card for this song. The rest of the record is a mixture of
blues rock including ZZ top songs, some AC/DC riffs here and there
and a lot of "boogie rock riffs". The legendary Rose
Tattoo's (Pete Wells) guitarist has recorded a funny album. Nothing
bad here, actually very catchy ... but as for the inspiration
???
Anyway, if you like the above bands, check this one. But I am
sure you will have the same feeling I got : I knew these songs
from the beginning to the end (ZZ top, Dire Straits or AC/DC).
I highly suggest you to buy the original records instead of this
copycat. Those bands created that style, they deserved the awards
... not this Hateball. Music has changed guys, you are
just .... Dinosaurs. I really recommend you to try before you buy !
