Dominus Infernus Ushanas

This is the first full-length album of the german black metal band Isegrim. They play pure old-school black metal without any help from keyboards, the two guitars being enough to produce all the apocalyptical atmosphere with their fast riffs. The singer isn't bad at all although on one or two very short parts, too much additional effects are added to his voice. The singer is also the bassist by the way. Production-wise the sound quality is excellent, with everything mixed at the right level. The balance between the agression, the melody and the dark atmosphere is totally successful. A very good album for all fans of black metal.
