Discerning Forces

Opprobium is the new name for the legendary Death Metal of the two brothers Francis and Moyses M. Howard from Louisiana, formerly known as Incubus. As I have never heard an album from Incubus, I cannot really tell you if something has changed. But this is what I can tell you : this is Death Metal in its most "conventional sound". No surprise at all and we have heard that a thousand time before. Brutal voice and fast rhythm with some nice riffs here and there, with interesting breaks. Die-hard fans of this style will like it, no doubt about it. As for me, I prefer to listen to a Testament or Hypocrisy's record.
