Killing songs: Time For Violence, Skullview
For sure, Skullview loves traditional heavy metal (Iron Maiden,
Manowar).
Their third album Consequences Of Failure comes as no surprise
as Skullview continue to delivers straight forward heavy metal
from early 80's. Even the production comes directly from that time and
could have been a bit better ... after all, if we consider the calendar,
we are living in year 2001.
But as usual with Skullview, the production doesn't matter at
all as the songs are rough, cutting like knife and at the end , you
pull out your old leather jacket full of patch and ride your motorcycle
Just listen to Time For Violence (first song) and you will understand
immediately what I mean (Iron Maiden is back home Mumy !!!).
Skullview, Warrior (second song) sees the "virgin woman"
being very aggressive and playing with the kings of metal (Manowar).
As it was the case with their two previous heavy metal bombs (Legends
Of Valor, Kings Of The Universe), Consequences Of Failure
is the perfect heavy metal almanac ... of the 80's course. A must for
all guys like me who are living this year their 35th years, a piece
of collection for those of you who like history, a must for guys out
there who like Iron Maiden & Manowar. That been said,
I am running to my mirror near our bed, jumping all over the place,
shouting and playing with my invisible guitar : "I am back in
the 80's" !!!.
Holly shit !!! I didn't know my wife was looking at me. She shakes
her head and said to me "What the hell did I find in you ???"
