Killing songs: All of them !
Rise up Iron Savior fans ...cause your saviors are back.. they're just
not all the same guys :). Well, now this is a band that needs to be
introduced and you have no idea where they come from.... perhaps from
the sky like the name of the record would suggest, but they are coming
from : you guys should sit :) ... France (come back guys).
Iron Savior meets Gamma Ray is the exact feeling this album produces.
Well the fact that Piet Sielck has produced the album has something
to do with it I guess, and he recorded the drums as well and perhaps
a few other things then and there. Kai Hansen (I don't need to introduce
him I guess... I hope not at least), masters of the masters of true
metal is also present as a guest on one of the tracks (now some of you
might already have downloaded the MP3 with Kai on vocal from our main
page, for the other, now is as good time as any). Sielck and Hansen
presence helps this Iron Savior meets Gamma Ray feeling, but the band
has many twists and holds many surprises. For example the vocal... now
this might hurt, but singer is not Michael Kiske even if you will be
certain it's him on first listen :)... and he also sound like Andre
Matos when he sings high. Impressive !!!
Now I love when an album holds his promises, and this one really is
coming from the sky, and everything on the album is excellent: guitars,
vocal, production is crystal clear and even the artwork rocks (now that's
artwork !). A buy-or-die album for every true / power metal fans.
