Killing songs: Visions (sounds like an Iced Earth song)
Progressive power metal is the genre to describe Paralysis' music. Paralysis was formed in the early 90's. This band is influenced by bands like Queensryche or Dream Theater. Overall their music is quiet heavy, with progressive elements added to their powerful metal riffs. Sometimes too technical for my taste, sometimes excellent, Architecture Of the Imagination isn't really linear in terms of quality. The title name speeches from itself. This music is really an architecture, a complex one. I am not sure the listener can absorb easily all those breaks. The combination of power metal and progressive elements is not always successful. However, the guitar player is really good, doing a very good work considering both the riffs and the solos. As for the singer is not bad at all. It makes a worthy buy for progressive hearted people out there, since most of the songs are good. Check them out.
