Another God

We've received a 2 tracks single from this French band. The first thing that strikes, the production which is very good. The band play melodic speed (power) metal. My first impression : Headline, with a male singer. The singer has a very good english (no huge French accent, thanx god). The music is fiercly fast and melodic and although I believe the vocals are quite good, but something tells me they could easely improve and get better. I personaly quite enjoy the fast moments, but the slow moments tend to a bit boring and the transition between fast and slow moments aren't that smooth. The guitars are really excellent : with fast, technical and very melodic solos and that is one of the strong point of this French band. I suggest them to concentrate into an area they are good : melodic speed metal and avoid useless slow breaks or mid-tempo as they tend to get quickly boring like in the second track which reminds me a lot Concerto Moon, being a tad too progressive and lacking good overall structure. In the end I'd say that there's talent in Hamarayade and I'll be looking forward to listen to their full length album. If they concentrate in delivering melodic speed metal, they could very much create a nice surprise. Keep up the good work guys (and girls :)) !
