Killing songs: None is particular, the entire album is nice all along.
When I received this CD I must admit I was very skeptical. Although
I'd like MSG music in the early years I really didn't like the last
productions and I didn't see how I could like this instrumental CD.
Obviously I was wrong wrong wrong ! This is a very good instrumental
CD. The tone and general ambiance is more rock'n'roll than it is metal,
but it is nicely done and frankly I didn't expect that ! I still prefer
Satriani (this one is really better than last of Joe's CD though) or
Patrick Ronda in general, but this CD is a good background music and
it's really bearing a good name that represent it's content : Adventures
of the Imagination... so whenever you want to let your imagination fly
away into the sky and forget about your problems, this one may be the
one you want to put ! Guitars can be technical and melodic in the same
time. Michael now rejoin the gang of guitar heroes and their solo albums,
and frankly after both Satriani (nice but not really metal) and Vai's
last albums : this one is a step ahead ! Congratulations Michael, keep
it up :) !
