Owe Lingvall was involved in a serious accident causing him to almost lose an eye
NOCTURNAL RITES drummer Owe Lingvall was
involved ina serious accident at his summer house a few days ago,
causing him to almost lose an eye, according to a posting on the
group's web site. "He is now in the hospital and will undergo surgery
on Thursday (Oct. 7)," the posting adds. "Owe is a true fighter and we are confident he will have a speedy recovery and will be up and running soon again."
NOCTURNAL RITES' sixth studio album, "New World Messiah", was released earlier in the year through Century Media Records. The follow-up to 2002's "Shadowland" was recorded in the band's hometown of Umea, Sweden and was mixed and mastered at Finnvox Studio in Helsinki, Finland by T.T. Oksala (TIAMAT, APOCALYPTICA) and Minerva Pappi.
